Con-nichiwa ness

The thing about doing a recap after the con has been over for more than a month is that you loose a lot of details. Hahaha, oops. Oh well, there are pictures~!


First of all, Con-nichiwa was one of those guest driven conventions that if you weren't there for the guests, you didn't have much to do but derp around in costume. Which is what mostly me and my roomies did~! :D


I roadtripped with elle_hazard and tasu down to Tucson. I was kind of passed out in the back seat chillin' with some wig heads so I don't remember much of the car ride.


They changed into Gintama and made epic faces at each other.


The rest of our party(tamayaki and greyfinch) got their around night time and we decided to go to Denny's for dinner.

There was also seeing cherrytsuna, meiye and emmayori in between there, but lol, fuzzy memory. OTL

Also while in our hotel rooms, greyfinch got upset at tamayaki for calling her computer a laptop and shouted at her, "IT'S A SATELLITE!" really angrily. And we all laughed really hard...I probably lost a lot of brain cells. I'm sure no one got that but those who were in the hotel room that night. :'D

The next day~


We kidnap a toiea for Circus tiems.


greyfinch wore Colonel Jade that day.

Except it was Paparazzi!Jade and we had this competition on who could photograph the worst cosplayers. We're so horrible, man...I'm not going to post those pics, because they're kind of horrible, plus they're full of motion blur and horrible lighting.

We also took Circus pictures for a bit. toiea as Joker, elle_hazard as Beast, tasu as Dagger and cherrytsuna as Wendy. And tamayaki as Ciel, but I didn't get a picture of them all together...but I thought I did.

Then toiea had to leave to go judge the masquerade. And we derped around some more~

So, it was getting late and we were getting hungry and elle_hazard knew this awesome pie place called Something Sweet that was open late. They're open until 2AM~ And they had the most amazing pieeees, omg.

















We traipsed back to our hotel where we worked on cosplay stuff, which for me was make my Dying Will Flame and X-Gloves at 1am in the morning. XD Also, kidnapped toiea again to sleep in our room so I can help her with her sekrrit!cosplay for the next day. :DDDDDD


Which ended up as Dino! :D Haha, we decided this like literally a week before the con. Also, those tattoos were a pain, which is seriously what took the longest, geez. Oh well, it looks awesome, yo~

Also, we had this in joke in which Dino likes to buy cheap hookers and we were going to go around and take pictures of Dino with skanky dressed cosplayers. Which there were TONS of the day before. But we couldn't find much on the last day...so sad. :(

We did however found a few.




And hooker!Byakuran makes an appearance. XD

Afterwards we ran around the con for a little bit more...I picked up some commissions from artist alley (which included Ugetsu/G~) and looked around the exhibitor's hall. My homies got changed out of their Tales of the Abyss wear, which I realized too late that I didn't get a picture of, and we went to grab lunch. I wasn't feeling well then and I thought I was just hungry, but I still wasn't feeling too well after the food, so I decided to get a ride with emmayori who was leaving earlier than my crew.

The first half of the ride was uneventful, probably because I kept dozing on cherrytsuna but we made a quick pit stop at a Dairy Queen somewhere between Mesa and Casa Grande I think...idk. But quick it was not. They forgot our order and we waited for more than 30 minutes I think...which is ridiculous for "fast food". But we high tailed it out of there as soon as we got our food and on our way again. I was feeling better and much more awake during that part and could contribute to the conversation then. And much conversation was had. ♥

Anyways, all in all, the convention sucked, but hanging with friends and derping around was awesome, the end! :D

The end of this month is PCC, probably the biggest convention Arizona has. Cannot wait~! Here's what I'll be wearing for which days.

Can't wait. I have a LOOOOOT of sewing to do! And I lost some time because I was sick this whole weekend.
